I recomend anyone who has a pre-00' dodge do this. I'm still having ECU issues and Dave at B&G is'nt doing anything for me since he says there is nothing wrong with his programming. I'm going to look into why the oxygen sensors are giving me issues and see which wires are/arent getting power so stay tuned for a tuning fix.

That being said, the truck is an absolute monster! I love driving this thing! I trully wish I didn't live in NY because the weather right now sucks major ass, I could be out hauling ass around town but I can't..... Once the weather comes around I'll post a lagit a driving video of me not hitting a rev limiter.
 
damn son. I want to do this as well, but f the pcm issues. Ill get rid of all the computers and run a stand alone system

Wish I had the knowledge to do standalone.... but I don't think I will ever try and attempt a build like that.

The B&G flashed computer doesn't hit a rev limiter so that's what I have been using even though it says NO BUS and a CEL pops on and says my rear 02 sensors don't heat up. That's the one I'm going to try and figure out to troubleshoot this weekend.

The computer that I was using in the earlier videos is of my original automatic computer. When a CEL comes on, the ECU goes into limp mode and I decided not to send that out to be flashed.
 
Sucks he wont do anything else. It obviously isnt right. If thats the case i might just live with a light i dont want to spend that mucg cash and it not be right and them not try.

That's what I expected...


I still say run the auto computer and leave shift solenoids and sensors hooked up...

Yeah I know it sucks, but what can I do.

I did plug in several sensors back in with the auto ECU but it still throw codes saying (vehicle in motion while in Park or neutral) WTF! people coast with vehicles in neutral all the time, why the hell would it throw that code? So..... I have given up on using the auto, I'm going to try and figure out the oxygen sensors with the manual ECU.

LOL, swap to a 3.9L! :funny: I have considered doing a 4.7L swap, buy one built/build it on the side and make sure I have all of the wiring harness and computer stuff that I would need and when(IF) my 360 starts giving me problems I could swap engines....but IDK about that, I think that might be more work then it's worth.

No other videos yet, but tomorrow looks decent so I'm going to cruise around for a bit after work and try and grab some filmage.

get a 4.7 5 speed, no headaches and just as fun to drive as a stock r/t just no aftermarket, also double the gas mileage:stirthepo

I wish I could buy turbo4.7's truck, however I have spent soo much time and money on my r/t I'll be damned if I'm going to walk away from it now just to get a different truck.

Maybe If I didn't do the manaul swap and my truck was still auto, I'd just have my r/t all stock suspension and that would be my daily driver. Then I would have stepped out and gotten a manual dakota. But, I came across that dirt cheap donor truck and the gears got turning in my head and it was all downhill from there.

I have my ways to get the truck inspected so I'm just going to run with it and troubleshoot the best I can along the way.
