Sev's do tend to eat plants really quick. They're all real plants in all the tanks, and I just took some pictures of the 20G but I don't have time to upload em now. The 20G, 55G, and 72G are heavily planted, the 110 is a predatory tank and they tend to arrange it to THIER liking not mine.

Breakdown of the tanks as follows.

No water changes for past ~9 months, plants keep Nitrates down.

160 watts Daylight bulbs/shoplights.
2 gal DIY CO2
No ferts
No Waterchanges.
6 True Red belly pirhana, 2 Bala Sharks, and 4 Crayfish.

No Ferts
40% Water Change Weekly.
2 10" Oscars, 16" Clown Knife(grows huge, 4' Possible), 6 Syno Featherfin Catfish, a lone Convict Cichlid, and a Gibbiceps Pleco.

28 Watt Pigtail light
No CO2, ferts
50% Water Change Weekly
A Betta, and COUNTLESS Guppies.

So all in all, weekly I have to dump water out of 2 tanks, and add ferts to 2 tanks, and clean the filters.
Monthly, I gravel vac unplanted tanks, or what I can sweep up, and re-do the DIY CO2.

It sounds like you know what you're doing SMD! It would be nice to never have to do water changes like in your planted tanks. Cichlids and plants don't really agree though, at least not for me. I used to really be into fishkeeping when I was younger and didn't have a vehicle to dink around with. Now I don't know what I'm going to do when I go to college this fall though, I'll have to get rid of my fish tank I suppose, unless I can make a deal with my parents to keep it in the living room or something...

This is my Bailie.. 4 year old Golden Woodchipper.. She don't care about tennis balls and squeak toys. All she needs is a piece of fallen lumber and she's happy as a pig in shit. I wish I had a picture of the tree she brought me last week.. A huge (like 12 feet long and 6 inches around) limb fell, and she wrestled it all the way from the back yard and left it on the porch for me.... Then she expected me to throw it for her! Within 4 days there was nothing left of it but mulch.

Anyways.. Here she is in HER chair.. (no one else is allowed to sit in it).. And shes a little annoyed I woke her from her beauty sleep.

Beautiful retriever man! My uncle is breeding retreivers. the male is probably the prettiest retriever i have ever seen. He is registered with the AKC, CKC, ACA. The mother is registered with the AKC, and CKC. They are just beautiful dogs.
