Upset because I asked you if my photo above looked like it was blue light?

Calm yourself.

Hahahaha love the doll. That's awesome

i have 6000k 55w vvme hids in my regular housings and theyre fine. Never get high beamed. Theyre white with a hint of blue like PDR1878 said.

They're not fine, but whatever. I love how you people assume that since you dont get flashed that they dont bother the shit out of other drivers. And I bet if you did get flashed, you'd be a total douche and highbeam back too (hint: thats why people dont flash anymore). We get it, people like you don't care that you're breaking the law and giving yourselves a great view of the road at the expense of everyone else's visibility. But stop trying to convince other people to be assholes too 'because you do it'.

And read it again PDR has 8k that he claims are 'white with a hint of blue', not 6k, which ARE white with some blue.

I run 8000k 55w. Much less blue than the 35w ballast.

Dude, people break the law every day. Including you. You don't always use your turn signal. You don't always keep a 3 second pace behind vehicles. You don't always do the speed limit.

Enough already. Clearly no one cares otherwise police would tap into that and make a shit load of money from it. So it must not be that big of a deal..

Ok smartass, if he installs them ILLEGALLY based on what people like you claim, and he gets a ticket or someone smashes into him because of them, do you think the judge will accept his plea of ignorance due to the fact that he got idiotic advice from a car forum? Are you going to pay for the ticket/damages/insurance surcharges/etc? Of course not. So why keep telling him its perfectly fine?? Because you have no accountability. It's real easy for you to say something when the consequences have no effect on you.

Stop ADVOCATING illegal activity and belittling me when I call it out based on your fucking opinion that 'it must not be that big of a deal".

Im just telling the guy what i got. calm down. im pretty sure unless they were factory equipped they ARE illegal. So by putting projectors on there doesnt make them legal. And my lights dont blind people. thats why you spend time and adjust them, not aim them at the top of the trees.

And i did read his. mine are white with a hint of blue. his may be too. different companies have different stuff. your probably one of those people who see them the second they start up flip out that theyre dark blue. look at his pics. it speaks for itself!

if you follow every single law nowadays you must be god.. but I highly doubt you do.

Yeah im sure they dont blind people. You have HIDs in a factory diffusion lens. Pretty hard to achieve a sharp cutoff in those, so you must be able to control the flow of photons by wishing them away, huh?

And I really dont give a fuck what color they are, as long as theyre not in my face. But blue is especially offensive. If you knew anything about photometry and the human eye you'd know why.

If someone like you wanted perfection, you'd buy the vehicle and never replace any part unless it was OEM.

Anytime you change something out there is risk. Either by not installing correctly or getting a boost of any sort from an upgrade.

Even window tint puts lifes at risk. Sure you have the legal limit of 25% but at night time it's harder to see, right? So at night you're putting everyone else at greater risk even tho, you are within legal limits. Does that still make it right?

Never said I do. But there's a big difference between not using a blinker when no one's around, and cutting someone off in traffic.

Way to deflect the question. AGAIN. Just like the picture up against the wall that you have to go SOOOOO far out of your way to get (but the real reason you won't post it is because you know it proves you wrong). Like I said, it's like talking to a wall with you.

Stay the fuck out of my face and I'll stay the fuck out of your face. You can tell people whatever you want. But don't get in my face when I inform them that what you told them is illegal to do.

Okay, deal. Now quit bitching while the rest of us enjoy our nights on the open road! :D

Dude your stuck on the whole illegal thing. YOUR PROJECTORS ARE ILLEGAL TOO! stop giving me crap about them when what you say is right, is still wrong. ill keep mine how they are and you can have yours.
:bye:

And I'm not going to read the full FMVSS 108, but pretty sure it's illegal to put projectors and HIDs on any vehicle that didn't have the factory option for them. I know when you get the factory option for them the car is required to have load leveling rear shocks.
1. It is legal under 108 for the END USER (i.e. the owner) of the vehicle to install any aftermarket component that meets or exceeds the original part's certification requirement... however, thats only the federal point of view. The individual state has the right to have their own requirement.

2. There is no leveling requirement for the vehicle as a whole for HID's under any SAE or DOT regulation. SAE does allow for leveling, either at the vehicle level, or the light component level. Its not required though.
