Some of us have more than one mod and we've heard about a lot more things than what is allowed to be chosen

sent from somewhere where I'm not home on a phone not paying attention to something important like school -_-

Well not much has been done to either truck thanks to the extremely cold winter we've been having. Today was really the 1st time I did anything at all with either one.

In the '00 I pulled out the 12" Eclipse sub in a sealed box replaced it with a Kicker CVR (2000 model) 10" sub in a ported box. Bass output is about the same but the kicker seems to sound deeper.

In the '03 I pulled out the Kenwood CD Player because I sold it to my mother-in-law and started it up to let it run for a few minutes. Lowering the truck is still in progress. Found a place that makes custom u-bolts so Friday I will go get that priced out then maybe try to finish up the rear drop in the near future.

painted the rear satin black, bumper and tailgate are good, next is smoke tail lights, then water pump, roomates chevy front end, buddies train horns, sand and paint door jambs, diagnose my cats, then when I go home drop grille guard, install the chevy lip, and paint the front end

Mounted 4 more tweeters, a alpine 500 watt amp and a JL 10" sub, and removed the center console and mounted a bazooka tube in place of it

Rebuilt the fuel pump / sending unit assembly I pulled from the boneyard with a new pump, new hoses, new strainer, and new gasket so I can just swap it out. Emptied the tool box out and unbolted it from the bed so I can move it out this Friday when it gets above freezing.

Stepson helped me move the bed off yesterday, and then I located the length and type of the 3/4" vent hose, the 1-3/4 (or 1-13/16)" fuel filler neck hose, the tank grommet (which was more like a gr t - was missing over 1/2 the diameter!), and the 3/16" EVAP hose.

For those inventorying, I used 2.5 feet of 5/16" fuel injection gas line, a little over a foot of 1/4" fuel injection gas hose, about a foot each of 5/16" and 1/4" submersible (in fuel) fuel line, about a foot of the 3/4" fuel line (vent hose from the tank to the filler neck), and about 6" of the filler neck hose.

The Bosch pump I used came with an adapter to fit the pump from the Dakota's wiring (which I cut off and soldered to the wires on the top hat I used - one wire to the pump had already been "fixed" and come back apart!) and the gasket. If you DO have to solder the wires inside, Polyurethane heat shrink tubing is OK in fuel (PVC, not so much unless you just WANT to have to redo it, the fuel filter, and possibly your injectors soon). DO get the marine kind with the adhesive.

She starts and runs, but until the stepson comes to help put the bed back on, I can't drive it anywhere (especially since the bed is laying on the rear bumper and the rear tires ... )

Getting my summer wheels out and cleaned, polished, and wheel protectant on before I mount them up. Unfortunately, I found the common drivers door rust on these trucks today after failing to get the door panel off to find out why every time I open the door or jingle the door handle when I have the window down or cracked, it sounds like the door handle rod is hitting the glass/bottom of the glass holder.

got it stripped/primed/painted. Gun took a shit, fucked it up, so it will sit for 24 hours before I wet sand it down and start again.

Replaced tensioner pulley and installed a 97 Mark VIII fan because the taurus fan took a dump. It was a depo brand replacement and only lasted a year, piece of crap. I redid some of the wiring and am running it through a 70 amp Ford relay, she should be good now. This fan pulls a LOT of air.

Well at about 2pm I drove my truck into the shop, around 7:30pm I had this.
