Nice!! Wonder what kind of quarter mile times it can run bone stock right off the showroom floor.

Won't know until we get official numbers but rumors say it have a turbo 4 pushing around 300 hp or more at the wheels. No word yet either on whether is will be FWD like it's predecessor's or go AWD and play with the STI's and EVO's.

Haters aside, it is a shame there has never been an SRT Dakota or Durango. Everything else gets the factory modification SRT support except for our lines. Shameful.

SRTs need to look like they are going 100 mph when standing still. I think a 2011+ Durango would look really good with the SRT treatment. The R/T version is already pretty sinister looking. The last Gen Dakota was just a bit too boxy and squared off to have that 100 mph when standing still look.

Maybe one day but i don't see it yet cause they make a grand cherokee srt8. A regular hemi grand cherokee has to cost more than a durango r/t?

i think they need to come out with an off road package dakota/durango before an srt. trucks are meant to tow, haul, and off road. think of every truck commercial out there. it'll show the truck doing those 3 things i mentioned.

well tacoma's are coming out with an off road package. i wish dakotas would, that'd be so sick.

i HATE that everything is going toward luxury! just like the new jeep wranglers! wranglers are MEANT for off road! not to drink wine in and get a hammy from a kardashian.

The company I formerly worked for (up until 4 weeks ago) is producing the interior plastics for the car. I went to several Form/Fit/Function trials at Chrysler. I spoke with an engineer that said they were still developing the SRT turbo 4 for the Dart. He said they were shooting for 0-60 in under 5 seconds and approx. 350 hp.

I didn't really care for the 05-07 Dakotas, but the 08-11s were pretty nice. I wonder if the Volvo designers of the 80s/90s helped with boxy design.

cooler than the caliber SRT4
