i just replaced the front hub on my old truck before i crashed it.

the new truck now needs hubs.

old one was not abs and new one is abs....can i just swap the hubs and leave the abs unplugged for now? its 250 each for a hub and i already am in debt.

if i can do that, do i unplug all the sensors or just the front?

or should i try to make the hub hold the sensor liek the other one does?

Wish I could help out here...but I can't...good to see you're getting everything (term used loosely) back together on the new truck!!!!!

i'd say yes. just leave the front LT/RT sensors unplugged. i'm not 100 percent sure though.

Find the ABS module and swap them out. That way, once you have the funds for the ABS hubs, you just plug the 4 wheel ABS module in and you won't have any issues with the ABS light staying on.

make sure you cap or bag he plugs for the ABS that aren't being used so when you do put ABS hubs in the connections wont be corroded.

that should make the resale go up...no??? :nono:
Nope thats why I still have an ABS light. When unplugged it does NOT shift right and odometer doesnt work.

Seriously????

Not trying to be an ass but why the heck would I drive a truck not shifting. I do not care about resale. The truck just doesnt work when its unplugged so.... Yeah

Unplugging the ABS controller should not affect shifting. I had my ABS controller out for a week while it was being rebuilt. The transmission uses the output speed sensor for the speed reference. When that one goes it will generate a P0720 OBD code. Do you have any codes?
