Not bad news, just a General Rant.

Now, I try my best to park my truck back and out of the way. I refuse to park angled accross multiple spots, because thats a doucebag thing to do, and IMHO it is only opening you up to piss someone off and key the truck.

Today I saw the bank parking lot was a little empty so I figured why the hell not, I was only running in for a minute. I get out and this is what I see. No scratches or dings, I don't think that the door could even swing over enough to hit my truck. But seriously, you couldn't park somewhere else?

Now they did not get close to my truck. We were both centered in our spots. I can't tell them where to park, and I wouldn't. But I know next time it will be some dumb bitch girl in her 6 cylinder mustang that her parents bought her, and she will ding the door or something.

Does anyone else get nervous when people park near their truck?

If something is going to happen, it's going to happen. I quit worrying about it long ago because people don't give a shit.

Wait till you take it to a show and walk away and come back and someone is using your tailgate as a seat or your fenders/hood for a leaning post.

I do the same thing, park way at the back and walk, every time i come out and 3 or 4 cars have clustered around where i park. fortunately no one ever door dings my out there, but that's not the point

I got a ding on right door,
parked out at the border of lot and some dumb bitch parked her Explorer beside me bc she couldn't park it.
Yeah, I keyed her.
HA! My younger brother, who has a bad ass temper, parked at the back of the lot once, when he had a caliber, and someone door dinged him with their front and rear doors, so he took the rear door of the caliber and beat the piss out of there door till the back edge of his door was bent in so bad he couldn't close his. he grabbed a pair of pliers, and bent the lip back and drove away, he hated that car

The door on my cavalier is trashed from doing exactly what your brother did. Shame is, it causes more damage to your door then the asshole next to you.

he was in the proses of finding another grand cherokee, just had this one as a for now car, now he just carves fuck you in the doors with his pocket knife

I think some people just feel like they're supposed to park where other people park. They can't make an independent decision on their own, so they go the easy route and park next to another car. It's similar to the douchebags that have to drive right next to the people in the next lane. You speed up, they speed up. You slow down, they slow down. They just don't feel comfortable doing things on their own.

haha, wow. When I park I usually park out of the way and usually the last spot next to a curb so only one person can park next to me. Like in a corner, but I never park where people make turns n stuff cause ive seen people misjudge it an clip the back of the cars parked there.

I've noticed that too. Got a magnet on the truck?:jester:

One random time at a random wal-mart I parked up near the front. Came back later to see someone parked a little to close to my hitch (with the ball on it). I could tell they likely didn't notice hitting it but left a little mark on their otherwise perfectly painted bumper. I didn't mind, just drove off laughing.:D

A couple weeks ago at work some asshole hit my truck! I park WAYYY out in the back of the parking lot and no one ever parks next to me but some idiot hit my truck and it tore the bolts through my drivers front fender flare. No note.... No anything! People are so stupid!!!!!

Where is the mustang?

Pic is obvious, your in the middle of crosswalk, and next is the next space, both sides qualify? Another dumb thread!

if this really pissed you off. why not wait for the driver and give him an ear full? Because you dont like confrontation. your post is pointless and stupid at best. the guy in the other car parked in the center of the space and did not damage your truck in any way. So what is the point of this thread. its just like when I sit down at a fast food place and its empty and then another person sits in the booth behind me. should I get mad? should I feel concerned the person sat behind me and worry about it? hell no.

dont like people parking next to your truck? then dont drive your fucking truck. easy as that. the problem isn't other people. its you. your to damn anal

What I cant understand is why people got to circle around and try to get the closest spot at the gym. I mean come on!

My trucks aren't really THAT nice but I still park far everywhere for multiple reasons. Exercise is good, less hassle of getting out, less chance of a wreck if your off by yourself, no door dings, ect.
