im thinking about buying this for a plow truck. says he has changed oil and air filters. never needed any work. is getting rid of it cause he never needs a 3/4 ton truck. so its rarely towed, or worked hard. all stock. a few SLIGHT blemishes on the paint. read the add for the rest.

KBB retail is 11,500... but private party is 9,100... i asked why he thinks its worth more and he said its got BRAND new tires, new brakes, and new steering stabilizer....

what should i look for on this truck? anything inparticular? im not familiar with the HEMIs but i do know that i NEVER hear anything bad about them. thats why i need you guys to tell me! hes 2hrs away from me so i need to know what im looking for the first time around, cause ill have cash in hand... said he will HAS to get 10k out of it...

What an idiot. 2500 is 3/4 ton, otherwise he said he needs a 1ton.
Beyond that, look up Motor Trend's long term test of the 2003 Ram HD, as it was truck of the year. Probably one to best incite into the Ram HD's of that generation.
About the only issue is the gas mileage is going to suck big time in the 2500's, worse when plowing.
