Aside from the fact that some are smooth some have dodge stamped in them and some have a brake light, will they all swap? I heard a rumor that the bed off the 93 that I have uses a different tailgate, something with the way it attaches?

I'm not sure what the difference is but, from what I've seen the 1987-1993 are different than 1994-1996 tailgates. Now, whether that means they won't physically interchange I can't say.

Yes..the tailight is the only difference. Other than that the beds are identical.

Sweet, I already figured it out lol. Glad it will fit. Should have seen me driving I was whistling the sanford and son song. I put wood in my stake pockets and flipped the other one onto it and used the wood like a double ended dildo. Then I strapped the hell out of it.

Im not saying it didnt come with a 3rd brake light in 94 but all manufacturers HAD to be compliant by 96.

Im actually planning on deleteing my nonworking 3rd brake light in favor od one of the LED strips between my tailgate and bumper, soon to be roll pan.

I don't have the 3rd brake light on mine. It was shaved along with the antenna.
