I am wanting to add a sub to my 2000 durango but i am looking for something to add a little thump but nothing too extreme, i dont want to loose any space, any ideas ? if anyone has pics then please send me your ideas

mount your amp under the passenger front seat..that will save a little space.

and with the infinity system it has separate tweeters so component speakers make the most sense right ?
the set I had in mind were the Alpine SPR-60C for the front doors, leaving the rear speakers alone, adding a dual voice coil sub in the rear.

update, (audio idiot here) a buddy donated a 10" sub in a box, he upgraded, so on a whim, I visited the local shop, they're pushing sub & amp route as a first option and suggest I wait to upgrade the door speakers until after I hear it, they want about 150 for a simple amp, $35 for a kit, and $55 for a line out, $65 install. approx $300 total.
salesman said I might hear more out of the doors after I install the amp/sub since my front speakers won't be trying to play as much base... does this make sense ?
