That previous pic belongs to 2k1amberr/t.
When I first got my truck it was sludged up BAD in the valve covers.I had to get a wet vac and a flathead screwdriver to get what I could out of the heads.Im sure it was worse in the lifter valley.I bought my truck 60,000 miles ago and have ran 10w30 Mobil one and changed it every 5000 miles and it still has the black discoloration but no more sludge.Mobil one has some really good detergents in it.

i beg to differ (gained almost 4 mpg in my old lincoln after running it in the oil) but I am young, and I really dont know everything so I dont wanna start a fight that I might be wrong. I just wont pour kero into my engine. I wasnt doing the oil change until I ran the motor so I did everything after the engine because I wanted to get it running.
