Any of you guys have any experience with JET-HOT coatings. My buddy with the RX7 got his manifolds and CO pipe coated by them and its badass. You can touch the pipes 10 mins after the car has been shutoff. Im really thinking of having mine coated when its all done.

I think he paid $450 ish..
To me its worth it after seeing what it does. If it keeps from melting wires and making everything else hot then thats worth it.

And my JBAs look like sheet right now.

thats not bad at all............ thinking of building my own stacks for the diesel. would like to get the exposed pieces in the bed coated with something like that

I can guarantee its not going to magically keep wires from melting.
Any kind of coating... even high temp bbq paint will keep the metal from absorbing some of the heat.

I used it on my headers and my exhaust. Looks great and only turned slightly grey after a few heat cycles. Not going to stay shining, but yea you can get under the hood and wrench after a few minutes. Great stuff I think. I think I paid 500 for headers and exhaust shipped about 4 years ago.
