Truck was operating normally yesterday. This morning, as soon as I started it up it sounded louder and rougher. Engine light is on. It's a 5 speed so going thru the gears the throttle felt heavier and throbed along with the stick shift head. The engin e is noticably louder and sounds like their is something wrong with it. It could be due to the torrential down pours of rain we've been having or the fish-tai l idid the other day for fun. Eiether way, its never acted like this. I'm about to go out to the garage andf check to see what engine coade with flash when i do the ignition trick. Anyone have feedback on this?

If it's throwing a code, find out what it/they are. Troubleshoot from there.

Yeah, checking the code is your best bet. Sounds like it might need a tune up, tho...

The codes said i had 02 problems and a misfire malfunction in cylinder 2. So i frove it around yesterday. And now the engine light is off and the truck seems to be running fine???
