What size spacer do people use in the front of these trucks to use the 17"x9" R/T wheels? I put mine on last night and noticed the hit the upper control arm.

That's probably a better idea than spacers, I hate spacers. Thanks.

If you use a set of dropped spindles you will not need to cut anything.
What he said, mine only rubs at full lock in reverse in un-even ground.

Ok, so I got them to not rub. What do you do about putting center caps on? Mine hit the dust covers and even with the dust cover removed it hits the end of the spindle. Any advice?

it should fit with the dust covers off, mine did. Though its a bad idea, all you have to do is take a cut-off wheel to the excess threads at the end of the spindle and cut it clean off. Then hammer down the dust cover until its nice and flat and the caps will fit.

hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, looks like I'm cutting. I have a set of 1" spacers from when I had Viper wheels on the R/T years ago but I think that will poke the wheels out a bit to far. Thanks guys

Nope, no pics yet. I still have the wheels off, I tried the spacers but hate the way it handles with them. I am going out to cut the spindle down and try to massage the dust covers.

I stuck one of the centers from the stock wheels (black center cap) and kind of liked it but it doesn't stay on so well. I think one good bump and they'd fly.

Control arm shaved, spindle end shaved, wheels fit, but dust covers do not.
