Well the stock powerdyne without a pulley change is made for a completely stock engine without a flash. So I think you would be ok. I drove my truck stock with just the complete powerdyne kit with stock boost and no flash for about 3 months. Then I decided to build up the motor to make it faster. Otherwise I never had any problems and I ran the truck hard for those 3 months. I would not suggest changing to a higher boost pulley without a reflash and fuel. Oh yeah and I also had stock injectors for those 3 months. If you want the best out of that unit which isn't very much. You should save some money and get a good flash for your setup. It makes a world of difference and really makes the truck come alive.
