What is the difference between a NV3500 tranny and an AX15 tranny? Which is more reliable/best performer? Is one an auto and the other a 5 speed? I'm about to enter a pretty thorough buildup(pulling the engine and trans) on my friend's dak and I'm trying to get all the info i can, but I can't find an answer...

being a jeep guy (built 89 yj) i would go with the NV3500, it is a much more capable tranny as stated above. :mullet:
