Wow, the more you talk the more stupid you make yourself look. I guess it just goes to show that just because you do something for 30 years, it doesn't mean you have any idea how to to it right.

since I suggested that Dodge uses crappy parts you guys have called me a...

nutjob
idiot
dumb ass

Suggested that I was not a "MAN"

and that I was the biggest crappy component.

Clearly you resort to insults because you don't have anything solid to add to your argument. I have a word for that. "immature"
Add stupid to the list of insults, and once again your argument has no substance. I almost feel like making a meme of that guy from the Matrix... "what if I told you, there is a better quality car out there"

No substance from the guy who has just been repeating himself like a broekn record. There really must be something in the water up there.

That article contradicts itself. It says transmission fluid needs changed regularly because it's an oil and oil breaks down, but power steering fluid is an oil as well(actually atf in dodges) but the same article says it can last life of vehicle. So which is it?

Just because someone made a website and made what could seem to most as logical suggestions doesn't make it good info.

Ok guys I see what we have here, backyard mechanic thinking just because he can take something apart and put it back together he thinks he can pass as a good mechanic an gear head. Must mean I'm a landscaper since I deliver irrigation supply's.

All of this can be backed up easy since everything I said about REAL mechanics and ASE certified techs has been completely ignored, we are faced with a true ignorant moron incapable of looking at his own flaws and admitting he has been wrong all these years.

Think of those shows like '' how to catch a contractor'' and similar shows, we are dealing with the car version of those moronic fucks and since he knows he is safe and cozy behind his computer, we aren't gonna set him straight on it by typing and trying to educate him through a forum the day will come when someone takes in their hands to deal with his shady work, only takes 1.

Seeing my laptop frustrates me enough I think I should stop here before my laptop becomes wall mounted, as for the original point of this post, I got my answer and know what to look for.

I will have you know that I understand and can do things with a vehicle that most ASE certified techs wouldn't have a hot fucking clue about, but that's another story. LMAO.

Yeah, being ASE certified isn't anything to brag about. It just means you passed a written test. Has nothing to do with practical application, or your skill as an actual mechanic.

Yup, not knocking anybody that has gone that route, but the things I know about aren't taught in very many schools.

I don't think there are any dealership manuals that tell you how to do this...

If you go the Taurus fan route, the Volvo dual speed fan relays simplify the wiring a bit.

I was thinking summit or something getting a nice assembly and use a pwm, seen pretty good results from that set up on old muscle cars pushing high horses. The Volvo way does sound easier on the wallet, is there a specific model or will any model will do?

Hmm... I've done PWM control on small fans, but never on anything that big. I didn't realize they made PWM controllers for engine cooling.

As for the Volvo relay, I don't know what models have it, but this is what it looks like:

If you search "Volvo fan relay" it's what you get

I run the now discontinued SPAL fan-pwm-v3 controller. Pwm is nice.

Wow it really is simple lol and yes they work beautiful on bigger fans and motors. When I worked at a hot rod shop we had a 67 Camaro pushing 600hp +/- come in for a conversion with one built into the fan, at least I think it was, this was years ago when I was still in school so my memory is a little fuzzy, just had to wire it up and put the probe between the fins of the radiator right by the radiator inlet hose for optimal reading.
