LOL REP TO EVERYONE!! HAHAHAHA

I laughed! HARD!! :jester:

Plus the hour it took to drive up there and back.

There is just WAY more going on than you know about, so just chill.

A sample: To be able to eat this winter, I need to get my two does either today or tomorrow morning. I need to go to the doctor and they could have gotten me in at 10:30, but I figured I'd be nice and not cancel on the dealership. So I have to wait until Monday to get in to the doctor now. Tomorrow we are getting out of town to see my In-Laws on a 200 mile one way trip that I can't afford gas for. And that's actually just scratching the surface of what's really happening around here.
what I'm saying is that it was an unrealistic expectation, on your part. Anytime I drop a car off, I take it for granted that it won't go in right away & probably take all day.

Took mine in for the same recall on Monday. Service manager asked me if I was going to leave it and I told him "Hell NO! As a matter of fact, I'm going to stand outside the mechanic's door and watch him to make sure he don't screw something up"! I was out of there in 45 minutes! :woot:
Good call i did the same thing, and i even work at a dealership here. Our service dept rocks, but the service manager is a fucking prick. I ended up getting into it with him. He hates everyone from the body shop dept. since our facility is new huge and state of the art, and the service is not. lol

i had my done this summer it took like 1 hour and 30 min and they broke my tilt and it was all the way down so i had to go back the next week so they could fix that witch took like and hour to suck when the dealership is like 35 min away and gas was $4 a gallon

loaners are fun, i had the brakes smokin on the one i had.

i work for a dealership and i know that if you wait they try and get you done fast but if you leave they will pull ALL the waiters in before you, if they were bust your lucky it got done as fast as it did. i have seen people wait here for 8 hours and then find out it wont even be finished.

I checked the Dodge Website and it says I have a recall for "Reprogram PCM OBD Catalyst Monitor"...it says Status "Incomplete"

Should I take the truck to the dealership?

That's the only place you'll get it done.
So should I just go to the service desk and tell them what's up? print off a recall form or anything?

My brother has told me time and time again how much he hates it when people do that...he hates it even more when the people tell him how to fix their car.

But he doesn't work at a dealership.
Yep I hate it when a customer is watching me work on their car. it makes me nervous and I'm way more likely to mess something up because of that. Plus it's really hard to take a sledge hammer to a car with the owner right there, and yes when you work where I do wheels are typically rusted on to the point you need a sledge to get them off on anything over 5 years old.

but in a non hijacking tone I don't think I've ever heard anything good about most dealerships. There is the random good one but they mostly suck. The GM one in my area is extremely bad at everything service wise including just getting you the right parts when you order them. tried to stay local and use them once, three tries wrong part twice and didn't even order it once so:bye:
