Well, as most of you may know I've had some back problems lately.

Well, the back had got to feeling much better, and I am set to go to Atlanta on the 20th of this month for orientation, etc at Swift Transportation.

So lastnight, my car club had our annual 4th of July get-together,cook out and fireworks.

We had a real nice show, and then, naturally, a bottle rocket war broke out, and I was caught in the middle of it.

Not thinking, I ran, because someone was trying to put a lit firecracker in my pocket, this went on for a good hour.

Fast forward to this morning..

I wake up, in horrible pain in the left leg, same as it was back in January when i couldn't hardly walk.

FUCK!

So I put the ice pack on, took some Goody's powders, walked around, I'm feeling a lot better now, I just hope to god and the heavens above that this was only minor soreness cause I CANNOT afford this to go on for another 3 months, when I'm supposed to start work in like 2 weeks.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, here's some videos I took lastnight..

The main display we did- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_-mvWLDBeE

Then, this where we're drunk and the shit hits the fan- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyziDtQmStA

Umm.. What are you going to be doing at Swift?

If any dock work or driving I see problems in your future.
Swift is a trucking company, so he will be driving. No touch loads.

Driving. I don't think we even have any docks, we get all our loads from warehouses etc, and drop them at the yard, pick up something else, etc. it's 99% no touch freight. You might have to climb in and toss a load lock in there, but thats about as physical as it gets aside from hooking and dropping.

Well, I went to the Chiropractor Friday morning, he did his usual routine, and felt all the back muscles, said they weren't tight or anything. So he thinks it's just sore from the impact of running, and he said it should work on out soon, so it LOOKS like i will be able to go ahead as planned as far as going to Atlanta for work.
