well, ive had my ehaust on for quite a while now. the first week or so when i got it on, the bank 1 side 1 o2 sensor was messed up, so i was running pig rich. i deleted the two precats and put on 1 high flow magnaflow cat after the collector. the truck really bogs down low, like when i hit it from a stop, it dosent want to move, then when i get the rpms up to about 3k it really moves. when im sitting in park and rev it, it doesnt rev up fast at all. it will maybe go to 2500 when i stab it. the gas mileage has really dropped, like from 13 to 11. could these be signs of a clogged cat?? how would i test it?? thanks.

What did you do with the o2's when you got rid of the precats?
the first two pre cat 02's are in the pipes, and the post cat o2's are hanging on thr frame rail

Sounds like one of your pre-cat o2s might be chooched. Any codes ?
no codes. i changed the bank one side one pre cat o2 after i got my exhaust, and that fixed it from running rich. it used to foul up all the spark plugs on the right side of the motor, and when i changed the o2 sensor it fixed it. so it cant be the bank 1 side 1 o2. i hope its not the bank 2 o2 sensor, that thing is like $100+. is there anything i can do to test it??

They might be causing the problem, but should kick on a cel. I've gone through 2 precats & 1 main cat on my truck...all of them rattled when they were hooped.
well, i have no codes but my gas mileage really sucks now. it sounds like it could be the other o2 sensor, but i dont want to chance it for $100+. is there any way to test the o2 without a scan tool?? anyone have any ideas.

anyone have the part # for the passanger side pre cat o2 sensor.

There is a way to check them with a volt meter, but I'm pretty sure you can just take them off and bring to them to advanced auto and they have a scanner. i think:huh:

If the cat was clogged, it would run better at lower RPM and chocke up like holy hell at higher RPM.

You've got other problems.
like:huh:

i dont think its the other o2 sensor. after i changed the one, it fixed the truck and was running great. i will try some other stuff, and if that doesnt work then i will change the other 02

It kinda sounds like it might be the other o2 sensor to me because if the sensor is bad and you running rich the truck would bog down until you got into the higher rpm's and needed more fuel. That would also cause the mileage decrease to. Pull you plugs and give them a look, it can't hurt. If you running rich the plugs will look like crap. ( I think they wll look black if your running rich, IDK exactly).

i did pull the plugs. they look great. the truck doesnt run as rich as it used too. when i first got the ehaust done, and the o2 sensor was messed up, i was blowing black smoke out the ehaust like a diesel truck. it dosent shoot black smoke now but i still have the low end bog when i take off from a light. looks like i need a tune right??

Did you reset your pcm? Try that. Voltmeter would work for testing the o2 if you know the values that indicate rich/lean/stoich.
i have reset the computer many times. i guess i will wait till i get the rockers and go for a tune and see what happens

no test that I know of. I do know that they are a wear item and should be changed every 60K, or so.
