Ok, simple job. Take off tire and brake caliper. Remove single spindle nut, slide out old hub assembly, install new one. Torque spingle nut to 185lbs as according to specs and reinstall caliper and tire.

So why have I had to change it now for the 2nd time in a week because the first 2 start making a clacking sound (like a bad CV) when I make a right turn?

I have a 2000 2wd, 5.9, rear abs. The part number is: BCA 515032

I already bought the hub. I am keeping the old hub so when I have to replace the passenger side, I can just replace the bearing. Thanks! :woot:

No, I was using the new supplied nut. And guess what? 2 days after the install, clicking and clattering again...

Im going to have the old bearing pressed out of my hub and put a new one in it and try that. Maybe the the new hubs are not machined correctly...

Here is an update:

So far, after 4 days, no problems. Whereas when I used the replacement hub/bearing set, I would get the clicking/clattering noise within 2 days. So, I guess the new hub is machined slightly different (and wrong). Oh well, it was cheaper replacing the bearing anyway! :banana2:
