I got this for christmas and picked up a harness from best buy everything works except for audio on the ipod. The audio works when the radio is on but thats it. Any one have same issues?

explain some more. is it the ida-x 100...what exactly is it & isnt doing.

yeah the IDA-x100 and it wont play sound with the ipod but the sound works for the radio

hmm.i got the same deck when i plugged it in.everything worked fine.but i already had the alpine wiring in my truck from my last deck.i dont know really what is wrong.sorry..what ipod do you have?because i dont think it reads ipod touch & a few others.i thought i read somewhere.

On the power suppy harness from alpine there are two blue wires solid blue for remote steering wheel controls and one for power antenna. On the after market harness for the car the wire for the power antenna gets connected to the steering wheel control wire not the other power antenna wire. Everything works like it should.
