Hello,

My wifes sister has a 2004 Durango which we might end up buying from her. Its got about 75k on it and in good shape.

I'm just wondering if there are any known major problems with vehicle? I dont want to take this thing and end up pouring money into it like we did with our last vehicle.

I know this is a "dodge durango" forum so please dont defend the vehicle if its a piece of $hit. I'm looking for honest opinions.

Are there any big motor issues with this thing or other poor manufacturing defects that you guys know about?

We coming from the biggest POS ever made (1995 Windstar) so I dont want to get into another money pit.

You're in the wrong forum...2004 was the new model for Durango's. No big deal, you'll just get better response from the guys who have them.

That said, I'm not aware of any big problems with them, but I've not had any first hand experience with them.
