Thanks for the kind words guys, but know for sure that I knew in advance some will not see my vision. I don't sweat the small stuff.
On an up note, I went to 2 shows on saturday, first one I took a top 35 award out of 135 cars. The second show,I took Best in Class which was modified trucks 1960 to 1999. This show had 315 entrants. Oh and today I did a photo shoot for a new Mopar magazine, to have "Twisted" as a featured vehicle. Nothing in stone, but the shoot has been completed so it is a possibility.
Congrats on the wins! I went to 2 shows this weekend also. The first one on Saturday, I took 1st place in the Truck '79 and up class, Best Mopar and was one step away from placing Best in Show. Got beat out by a frame off restored '66 Ford F100 that was absolutely perfect. The second one on Sunday had 235 registered and I placed 35th in the Top 75. Who says you have to ride around on chrome wagon wheels for your truck to look good. I like my 15" wheels and it's MY truck so that is all that matters. I guess there is something to be said about the "old school" stance of a truck.

Keep us posted on the photo shoot. Your truck will look killer on the cover of a Mopar magazine.

I think my opinion goes without saying. So I think this might actually be one of the first threads that I'll actually keep my mouth shut yet you'll still get my point.

I only assume you liked the CCW's, since you have CCW's. I can respect that.
Your Mod list cracks me up:jester:

Keep us posted on that article, I'll be sure to pick up the magazine when it's released!

I think it looks great! I can totally see what you're going for. My first car, and still favorite car I've ever owned was a 1970 Duster with steelies & baby moons :D. I've been searching for a set of steelies myself, but they need to be 16" to clear the brakes on my 03, so not having a lot of luck.

My rear rims are 16x10's Stockton took my 15" wheels and put the center in a 16" outer.

i think the ccw's gave it a good look...mean and sophisticated. i'm not even a fan of chrome but yours were nice...as for the new look..not sure yet...maybe it will grow on me....the color match is perfect....just i'm not big on the HUGE sidewalls...but thats me. have the tires changed its handling any?

how in the world did they put a 15" center on a 16" wheel?

If I went to auto x it i'm sure it wouldn't handle as well, but on the street/highway no noticable sacrifice. It does handle bump a little softer.
Stockton wheel doesn't widen your rim, they take your center and put it in a wider rim at your desired backspacing. They also have rims that will allow you to go up 1 size, which I did.
I believe if people saw these in person, most would like it.

Oh I forgot, CCW's aren't chrome. They are polished aluminum. I don't care for chrome wheels either.

I gotta admit man, I do like your stance. (made me just order a 1" block to drop my rear a bit lower :jester:)

Gotta ask:
Is that really JUST spintech side exit? Or are those a different set of tips?

And what tire sizes were you running on the CCW's?
I know they were 19's but the sidewall looks small- like a 35 series or something.

Oh, and your suspension is Hotchkis TVS w/ 1" block in rear right?
Thanks man

SpinTech catback, tip came with it.
Tires on CCW's were 295/35/19
Hotchkis TVS + 1" blocks
