decided I'd have a look see how black/gunmetal rims would look on my dak.

Ignore the goofy lookin mofo leanin all up against my truck, and also ignore the fact that this is an old pic and also ignore how dirty she is

I mean, no billet grill, or clear turn signals!

quit hating. those are my rims, done in black.

a new set of rims are much more expensive than a trip to the powder coater / Walmart

and while I'm getting a bit off topic, anyone wanna trade?

Not hatein', just there are some wheels that would look better with black centers. IMO, your wheels are not one of them. But it's your truck and your wheels. As I well know, you don't have to please anyone but yourself. I've been taking grief about my wheels for years on here and they are still on my truck because I LIKE the way they look. Ask for opinions if you like, but the final decision is yours and you are the only person you HAVE to please!

What wheels are those. I think they look pretty good. I'm not a fan of rims with polished lips, so if you are going to paint/coat them, do all or nothing.

Must have one of the Mexican 4x4 models too. Hope you fixed the front bumper as well.

Wanna sell them? I'd trade, but I only have the stock 16" SLT wheels, unless you want them, then I am game.

I have a powdercoater and tire/wheel machine, so I could powdercoat them black or gunmetal for you. Too bad you aren't closer, I could dismount/mount and balance them for you too.

But, those rims are MB Wheel, here's a link

I would gladly trade them for a set of R/T rims that weren't scuffed up, cracked, or curbed.

Until then, I'll think about painting them, but not actually do it
