I'm 30, but don't hang out at bars. Never could get into going to a bar to sit around and pay outrageous prices for beer when I can invite the same friends over to my house, run to the store and buy the beer at a more reasonable price, and then not have to worry about how I was going to get home. Plus be able to whip out some games, or throw a movie on. Invite women over and have some place to take them other than "out back" Now that I'm married, I never go to bars. sit at home and don't drink to get drunk. I'll have maybe 3 a night at the most, and that's if I had a bad day at work. Usually a 12 pack will last me a couple weeks.

hey, i listed Guinness in my post. I see you're in MN, you ever try Boulevard? All their varieties are pretty good except the pale ale. I'm a big fan of the Dry Stout and Bully Porter.

normally any IPAs (like DogFishHead or Stoudts), stouts, or porters (Guinness, Killians, Sam Adams, etc)
miller, coors, bud, heini....they can all kiss my ass. i'd rather wash my glass out with them to prep for the worthwhile beers. i prefer to TASTE my beer, not the carbonation to cover up for the lack of flavor :mullet: if i have to have a cheaper beer, i choose Michelob.
as for liquors, Capt Morgan, Sailor Jerry, Bombay Sapphire, GJ/JD, Crown Royal, and either Seagram's 7 or Gin if i'm low on cash.

DogFish Head 120minute IPA = 20% costs $9 per 12oz bottle. damn good beer. so thick you could cut it with a knife!!! :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool: that means its a nice sipper beer that you can enjoy all evening instead of downing a 12pk of cheap crap
not everyone likes IPAs, and even for someone like me who's been drinking since age 2, it took me about a year to get used to it. now i almost can't drink anything else :jester: ............dont give me that look, yes i started drinking at age 2 and i'll be 30 in October. Jimi didnt believe it until he met my Great-Grandmother, an old 1/2 cherokee indian woman who told him the story without him asking. my stupid uncle was babysitting me and i said i was thirsty, so he handed me a Budweiser. one 6pk later, nekkid & peeing in a circle around my Gram's house, my mother & gram came home & about beat the living shit outta him :jester: as a baby i was given JD in a sugar-tit when i was teething & the rest of the capful to drink.

Most definately, very scrumptious. We have a beer tasting festival every summer, and there are alot of really good microbrews out of WI too.

wow, i've noticed that a LOT of people in here love the mainstream beers. anything budweiser, miller, sammy, guinny. you know, the usual suspect line up. i've been straying away from all of them. when i go out, i ask for the DARKEST beer. simply put: if i want water, i'll ask for a water.
i've been trying names that no one really ever hears of. i like to drop a name that i just had & have someone be like "waht??" i love that! micro brews & even the semi-micros are WAYY better in EVERY aspect.
but i have 3 simple things that i, personally, look for.
it cant be yellow
i dont wanna see through it
it MUST have an abv NO LESS than 5%
there ARE a few exceptions to those rules.
oh, and i LOVE hops! give me an IPA that i can cut with a knife. i want to see the looks on these kids' faces when they taste my beer. "eww!! i cant drink that!!" :jester: they sound like my kids!

SMIRNOFF ICE IS NOT BEER!! it's a flavored malt beverage. it's no different that ZIMA!! yeah, so it hs more alcohol, that just means you'll be drunk AND gay.
sorry to the ********, but fuck a pissweiser product. you claim you LOVE the taste of beer, yet the vast majority of you never step outside the box to TRUELY taste a REAL, handcrafted beer.
and you millertards aint exempt either. get off the high life & try something with flavor.

2nd to the best beer that I've ever had to Shiner Bock (http://www.shiner.com/beers/beers-bock.html) It's made in Texas and it's a damn fine beer. The best beer is still the Guinness that we had in the home land.
