I don't know where you find your parts but for sure not $20
You can get cheap bulbs all over the internet for that price, but they'll be crappy. Then again pretty much any rebased hid bulb is going to be crap anyway, not to mention will blind the shit out of people in a halogen housing. Being 8000k (not 8k) is just making things worse because they put out less light and grab the attention of ol'smokey even more.
