The Charger looks like chit.
:vomit: That front end looks awful, well if that's the only thing I don't like about it I guess it's not so bad. After looking at interior pics and the rest of the car, I'm starting to warm up to it. No 6spd though wtf that is total :bs2:

At least it's made/assembled in America - "Brampton (Ont.)"

they need to put a manual tranny in it, like GM did with the G8 GXP. 6 speed family sedan with power, that is always memories for a family.

If I want to burn the tires. My 8500 lb. F350 Extended Cab Dually will do that. I can mash the throttle at 60MPH and get sideways. It has been known to embarrass Mustangs and Camaros on the track.
I still want one of these cars.

8500 or 850 ;)

You want a manual transmission buy the Challenger. The Charger will never get a manual.
Or build a 408 Dakota R/T and convert to manual ;)

It don't matter how fast you can slam gears, you cannot outshift a well built auto.
This is true, but doesn't feel and sound near as good. Exhaust systems sound a little better on manuals.

8500 Lbs. 650 RWHP, over 1000 LBS Tq.
I also love slamming gears, but a 1/4 mile only cares about ET, fun is secondary.

Actually, I have fun doing 12.5 in my Dually and still losing. I usually only lose to other diesel truck though. It is really fun to see the look on a Camoro\Mustang\Charger driver. I passed a new charger while getting sideways.

However, with most of the pretty good cars, I better do it at the start, 4:10 gears, and all the HP happening right off idle helps out a lot. I am topped out and just hanging on by about 1200 ft.

Damn! I was thinking 8500 since diesel, just wanted to pick on ya. Mad respect to you my friend. All while in a heavy ass truck too! Best sleeper vehicles and shock factor of people's faces.

That is why I want to: #1 Buy a Dakota R/T and #2 Build it into a street/strip vehicle. 408 stroker will help there, wanna stay n/a, maybe turbo if I ever get bored. Running 12's in a truck sounds good to me! But I'm dreaming big, I'm a long way from that happening in the next 5-10 years. A guy can still dream though, can't he? "They" haven't made that illegal, yet.
