Auto door locks

Howdy All,

I want the automatic door locks to stop doing that! I read to cycle to key on/off 4 times ending with on, then hit the unlock switch but I haven't had any success with that.

Appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

Locking automatically.

It is a safety and security feature implemented by most automakers in the early 2000's. I know I wouldn't want my doors to stay unlocked while I am driving in shady areas.

I'm sure it is a nice feature for some of you folks that have to spend time in "shady" areas, but the only shady area I am ever in is under a tree on my farm. The auto locks are a giant pain in the ass, I can't count the times I've needed to open the passenger door and had to go around to open it.

Hope someone can lend a hand here.....

Go to the DIY section on this forum Click on interior scrol down to the next to last item and vola there you go.It worked on my 2004 Dak.

you said you hit unlock, but this is saying to LOCK so maybe that was your problem
