Hey, so I'm new to this forum, I normally am just on the dodgeforum.com, I originally thought yall required money to belong and realized I had your forum confused with another. So here I am, anyways hi guys. I like the forum already, organized and focused on just our stuff.

Quick info on my Dakota:
2001, Quad Cab, 4.7 V8, 4x4, Auto, SLT
250k miles, new engine (Less then 5k on it), 2nd tranny

Starting tomorrow I'm starting the "build" for my Dak, it is getting a custom exhaust 2.25" down-pipe > 3" single > high flow cat > 14" magnaflow > Dump out the back behind the bumper. Straight forward, everything 3" piping except the down-pipe.

Then the weekend consists of a father and son activity. Installing H/O cams, 2005+ manifold, 180 thermostat, sonnax pressure booster, 24 lbs. balanced fuel injectors and a Super-spring kit. So a good day's worth of work.

Things already on the truck are a Superchip, 68.5 Fastman TB, K/N filter, 545RFE TCM

I'm seriously considering installing 4.56 motive gears but I'm not made of money. So hopefully in the future.

So that is the majority of my truck, I'm just posting about what I'm doing. If yall have any advice, 2 cents, or just reviews on stuff. Feel free to tell me, I like learning and hearing opinions.

Only immediate question I've got is, has anyone dynoed a Dakota with this set up (or similar) yet to give me accurate numbers? I was figuring I'd have close to 300 hp and probably 350 ft/lbs. of torque (@ flywheel). Just wanted facts, not myself guessing.

Thank you

So the Superchip's tune isn't enough? I have been planning to get an SCT tune but it is not cheap. Where can I buy them? I've been having trouble finding one for the Dakota, every online dealer keeps saying they aren't offered. I one found a 9550 handheld but they dealer wants $400 for it and no tunes, is that reasonable?
