Adobedude, I didn't come on here and insult you for being a bitter old fuck for thinking everyone is the guy who hit you. I even said earlier in the thread that the guy who hit you deserves the full punishment the law can give. He was going through town acting a fool and happened hit to you..he obviously didn't care about you or anyone else. Yet when I say I go out into the boonies where no one is, and there's not even a road that intersects the race road, so that eliminates someone pulling out and being hit.. And you want to come on here and say I'm a " ******" just like the guy who hit you? Shit, I was/am on your side about people like him, but hey, if you wanna be that way then fuck you too.

And 70Cuda, we do clean the street, not with a tractor and full out race track equipment..but we do bring a push broom, walk the road, sweep any gravel and debris off, and most of the time someone does bring VHT.

There are already guard rails on this road, not sure why, but they are there... And there no spectators down there, 99% of everyone who is there is at or behind the line, you have a few guys who go further down that are videotaping, spotting, etc.

No, we don't hire medics because we all have cell phones, we can call 911. Not that we've ever needed to.

I just want to know why you keep putting us in the same group as the guy who hit adobedude..He didn't give a fuck about anyone's safety, and chose to fly through town and ignore traffic laws, signs and signals..We on the other hand go out of town, AWAY from everything..and yet we're still the same " *******" that don't care about anyone's safety? Really? I get it, you just hate street racers that much that you refuse to pull your head out of your ass and acknowledge that my group actually does care about the safety of us and those around us,which is why you don't see any of us on the news having ran over a van of children, etc etc.. cause if there's even 1 car on the horizon, we're shut down and off the road.

If you care so much, then take it to the track to properly race. You have done nothing but promote street racing this entire thread.

Street racing is street racing is street racing. Whether out in the boonies or in a crowded city. Its all the same, racing on the street.

Holy chit guys!! We just found the ONLY group of street racers who race on a totally isolated road complete with guard rails, no cross roads, and who takes the time to sweep the full 1/4 mile run AND treat the road with VHT!!!:jester:

A cell phone to dial 911. Awesome. What happens when a guy gets out of shape, wraps it up in the guard rail, and takes a mangled piece of metal through the femoral artery? Before your call to 911 is connected and the operator answers, he's already losing consciousness from lack of blood. By the time the operator can take down your location, details, and dispatch the medics, he's unconscious. By the time they actually arrive on scene 5-10 minutes later... He's dead.

At a REAL track, the professional medics are on scene before the smoke clears.

Yea, you guys sure are safe!! :clap2:

Yeah yeah. Keep on, I really don't have the time or patience for this shit anymore. You guys just hate street racers for whatever reason, sorry to hear that. You ain't hurtin my feelings none.

All this talk about safe safe safe safe..If you're that scared then only place you need to be racing is on a video game.

I am done with this thread, I've said all I can say, and you and whoever else just refuse to acknowledge that we do take precautions, and we do look out for one another and any " innocent motorists" if/when there are ever any where we're at. I don't think you guys realize the size of the town we're from..this isn't some big metropolis with 3 million residents, etc..

But hey, you guys have a nice night talking shit.. We're all packing up and about to go out to the Drag strip. Yeah, that's right, the drag strip..I never said we never went.. I'm just saying our " preference" is late night 2 lane black top good ole fashion street racin.

not trying to start some more shit here, but....... when you guys race you only go to the speed limit then hard on the binders right?
good because if you didnt, you'd be ignoring traffic laws and signs, and only "*******" do that shit.

Hang in there Misfit. Its funny all these do gooders and smart law abiding self proclaimed righous people cant even discuss anything without calling people that dont agree with them all kinds of names. Its funny but Ive seen more wrecks on the drag strip than on the back road racing. Like I said when I started this thred about another black eye for drag racing. two dummys running off a stoplight in 5 oclock traffice is a whole lot different than back road drag racing. Most of these back road race car arnt super fast, probably 12 seec up. Now show your smarts and call me names. Since speeding is now included I guess anybody that speeds even a little are in the same boat as street racing.

I was hit on isolated road at 1:30 am...

I'm just saying street racers can't predict who/what/when is going to be driving down the road in front of them. Why even think about taking that chance.

It's just fucking stupid.

I don't need to call you an idiot, you're proclaiming it yourself. Thanks.

Yeah, those chicken shit x275 guys, radial class guys etc etc, with their cages, and track safety crews. True pussies compared to these bad ass street racers.

How bout since everyone wants to point fingers, let me ask this, out of everyone on this entire forum that mods/races or does anything with their truck that has never speeded, street raced, or even did a burnout on a backroad come on and speak up because what it all boils down to is that its all wreckless driving/ speeding/ etc? Bet that list is real short because honestly whats the point of having anything nice or with more hp than factory if your not going to enjoy it?

True that! I've toned down my "wreckless" habits a ton in the last 5 years. I would have been in more trouble if I had a V8 when I was younger. All my vehicles I've owned from 18 to 32 were 4 bangers or v6 engines with fairly weak power. My dakota is the 1st one I've owned that would actually do a burnout and I've done MANY in my 2000.

Notice mmost of tthe people speaking against street racing are older. Im not saying I've never screwed around, but I've grown up and realized its not worth it. Not only for the safety reasons ut the cost of the ticket should I get caught isn't worth it either.

What some of you younger guys need to see is most of us older ones are trying to keep you young guys from making some of the same preventable stupid mistakes we did when younger.

I street raced when I was much younger. I got caught and was in a gigantic world of trouble. I am glad I I got caught. I made me wake up and realize just how incredibly stupid I was being.

Kids will be kids, but hopefully those of us who learned the hard way can help keep others from making the same mistakes.

when you guys go street race, do you clean and prep the street?

do you have guard rails to keep the cars from going into any spectators?

do you hire medics to stand by on scene in case someone crashes?

If not, then shut the fuck up, because what you're doing is not safe, and quit trying to argue how a "real street racer" is better than a "stop light running thug"
Hey, you were the one that helped organize and promote our last 'street' racing event. We got permits from the city to shut down the road, only I really didn't get permits, I made fake permits on my mothers computer when she wasn't looking and you believed that the permits were in fact real. Sorry about that. But you were street racing with us. You were in your Viper, the one we put R/T wheels on.

I hope a Dakota isn't the most powerful thing you've owned. Lol
Actually yes my 2003 Dodge Dakota Regular Cab 4.7L is the most powerful thing I have owned. I own a 1971 Dodge Charger Hardtop with a 318 but my dakota has more power. I'm one of those not so fortunate guys in the world who lives paycheck to paycheck to get by in life. Just because you got fortunate with a decent steady job and can afford things doesn't mean every one else can too.

I have never raced any other car on the street. I have always been faster then the car in the other lane. Simple as that. It was never a race.

Wow, not really helping your case any trrying to say street racing is okay. Now we can add forgery to the list of offenses broken.

That's ok, at least he's not a flip flop crop duster:jester:

In one post, you defend the guys who are pro street racing, and bash the guys who are against it with this:

And people wonder why this site has gone downhill. because there are people that post here only to cause drama for thier own entertainment. Then others talk shit about the entire site as being immature and lacking of knowledgable people when it's some of the "knowledgable" people that use this only for a playground. Grow the fuck up.

But now you're defending the guys who are against street racing with this:
Notice mmost of tthe people speaking against street racing are older. Im not saying I've never screwed around, but I've grown up and realized its not worth it. Not only for the safety reasons ut the cost of the ticket should I get caught isn't worth it either.

Seems like you pick your side of the argument based on who has responded to the thread, and not on the actual content of the topic... And you wonder why people call you the "copp duster" or that you create the "copp vortex"
