A $100 kit will work.

Have an auto audio installer install it for ya. We got a basic system and installed for $165 out the door.

Your truck has 5 wire, or reverse polarity door locks. If your remote start unit does not have relays built in, you will need 2 SPDT automotive relays.

Basically, you will be interrupting the switch and motor wires for both lock and unlock, and wiring them through the relays to allow the keyless portion of the remote start to control the door locks also.

Proper identification of switch side and motor side is critical on a 5 wire system to properly interface with a keyless entry system.

Thats not to bad. Its a PITA for me cause my driver side lock dont work from the outside to unlock it after I replaced the door handle and lost the little washer that holds it in place so I have to go throw the passenger side to unlock my truck lol. Really sucks when I have a fire call and I get stuck having to unlock from the passenger side, opening the door and hitting the unlock button then running back around to the driverside lol

Or he can pick up a DEI 451M module for $10 and install it himself in an hour or two..

Wow what? He already has power locks and a remote start that has keyless built in, so what does he need a $100 kit + $65 installation for?

Im not 100% it has the power locks option but its the only thing I can think its for. It has 2 buttons. one is marked I and the second one is marked II. The II button doesnt do anything. The I one starts it and kills it so Im just assuming its for keyless entry. Also, the box has different swiches on it that are turned off but dont say what its for.

An audio shop would be your best stop. Ask the tech what you have, how it works, and how it can be added too.

Wose case, you have a price idea (that I gave you from experince) and you could go that route.

What's the make/model of the RS? If it only has two buttons its usually for a trunk popper, but it might be able to be reprogrammed for lock use.

Mmm well AAMP makes a few brands, and without a model number I couldn't tell ya what it's capable of. There's no sticker on the underside of the brain?

Ok so I just went out and looked and there is no sticker or anything on it. the best thing I can do is there are 4 little switches on it. At the top, 2 of them say ON and the last 2 say DIP. At the bottom, they are labeled 1 2 3 4. The ON ones are down to 1 and 2 and the DIP are switched to the top. Wish I knew more.

That's not helpful.. Does it have a 'valet' button? 4 switchable options isnt much, so I'm guessing if it doesn't have a button then it's not electronically programmable and that II button is a fixed function.

Did it come with the truck? If it did I guess there's no chance you have any of the paperwork on it..

Don't you hate when Taz talks to you like you're dumb? Check this, that, ect.

Hence why I said take it to a shop as they have a better idea. Worst case add onto it. I figured you already looked for paper and logos to do a google search.

haha I already tried googling it but I cant even find a website for AAMP. Im not even sure what the "valet" button is. I know what a valet key is but not so sure what it is on the truck. Ill just wait til I get back to Colorado and ill take it in to Car Toys and see what they can tell me. I dont need the keyless entry but it would be nice.

Seriously. Go fuck yourself. You of all people should appreciate being talked to like you're dumb because you define the word.

You see, some people actually like to LEARN to do things so they can do them for themselves. If the OP wanted to be a dumb lazy shit like you, he would've just taken it to a store without even asking us how to do it.
