Wondering if this is normal, or what could be the cause. It doesnt matter if I have the AC on or not, after driving the truck there is always a pool of water on the ground on the passenger side of the engine. No matter what - any ideas? I've seen this happen when running the AC but not for any other reason...

nope, its normal, my truck does the same thing as well as my 07 burban. its just condensation from the tubes the HVAC fluid flows through (Freeon)

The AC compressor is running any time the selector is in either of the "snowflake" positions, Bi-level (panel/feet), or either defrost position. So even if you have the fan all the way down or the blender set to a warm/hot setting in any of those positions, the evaporator and suction lines are still getting cold, and the water will drip (the more humid the air the more water it will wring out).

either or :D haha
Freon is a trademark name for DuPont R-12, which has been genericized (like Kleenex or Xerox) to include all brands of R-12. The current refrigerant in use is R-134a, which doesn't have such a name (technically it would be Suva, but that never gained wide recognition), although some people incorrectly refer to it as Freon.
