Man those looks good to me... good job, how much you get charged for the paint job on then? I would like to get a set for the silver one of mine.
Thanks. Cost me about $18. I painted them myself. I think I'm gonna go ahead and mount them tomorrow after I wetsand and buff them. Heres another..

Dude I know I'm biased but those look killer, esp for 18 bucks of DIY paint. As far as the height goes, were you expecting them to be more flush/level with the bottom of the flares? Maybe no under-flare shaping? That may be something I'll try to duplicate if enough interest is shown.

Yeah, alittle less or no under flare shaping. I worked them a bit to flatten the curve out some but got in a hurry to paint. Overall fit and finish was pretty damn good considering you made them at home without the help of high dollar equipment. :mullet:

From my point of view, I thought they'd come out more, almost flush with the exterior of the door. But they look killer

They could be placed flush to the rocker panel if that's what you mean. Personal preference on that. If I made the mounting side toooo wide it can easily be reduced to flush mount them. Probably should reduce that mounting width a bit more anyway. Will need to put that to the strength test though.

I'm saying that if you were to run your hand down the side of your truck that after the bottom edge of the door you would level out somewhat where the skirts would be instead of being 1"-2" inward.

OK..I see what you're saying now but the rocker panel plays a big part with that concept and would leave the skirt more vulnerable to damage by those getting in and out of the vehicle. I'll look at it some more to be sure.

What do you mean by rocker panel? Now that I think about it, what if it were just flush with the door sill? (when you open the door its flush with that edge) Or are they like that already?

Mine sits flush with the door jam. This is the way it came.

Let us know when you resume taking orders. I might be interested.
I can take more orders now with the understanding that it may take 1 month to ship. I'll start a new thread on it today as I have another option that I need to figure out the cost. This last batch of urethane I got will allow me to add color to the mixture else will be almost translucent. Since I'm experimenting with the new urethane without color, the next CC set I send out will be interesting in appearance to say the least.:D

LOL..nope. It's just "Dodge Different". I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with this latest type of Urethane from here on out due to its characteristics. Much better to work with and even stronger than the last two types I've tried.
