Sometimes you need to learn when to just STFU and not say anything.

I liken it to leaving a power tool plugged in......why not just plug in the 'ole skil saw and place that in the playroom...

Will you EVER take responsibility for your own actions? Then you post about them! LOL

What i really want to know is why you didn't FIX the toilet, instead of trying to glue it....Home Depots are everywhere...

PLEASE get smarter, your children are watching.

Also glad that the children didn't turn it on and get some very serious burns as well..... when you have kids, you ahev to use your head 24/7...

There is a mother here in Merritt Island, FL that turned her back for "2 secs"
and her son is dead. It happens.

There is a good reason for good housekeeping...
Yea, maybe you think he was being irresponsible...but come on man, did he ask for you opinion on that?

He was just stating some bad news...don't ruin a thread.:)

Again though, glad everyone is okay, that's what matters. hskrRT, not looking forward to hearing the repair costs, huh? Well, like it's something to look forward to.:jester:

This clown is famous for doing dumb stuff and then stating all kinds of reasons why it's not his fault. Why would he post it, if not for opinions on his story? Are we all so damn PC that we can't handle the good opinions as well as the bad? Some would say, if you can't run with the big dogs, keep your puppy ass on the porch.

As far as being irresponsible, what do YOU think? Would you leave a heat gun plugged in around children? Why don't we juts throw some acid, C4, a couple of loaded weapons in there.

Stupid is as Stupid does...

Did you not read my post? Oh well, I'm not gonna start some big thing on this thread and ruin it...moving on.

Glad it stopped where it did Brian!

We just about lost our brand new house (at the time), after our kitchen went up. Dad was filling up the burner for the fondue pot over the sink with methyl hydrate. It must have still had a flame, or was just hot enough to ignite the jug, and that caused dad to drop it, so burning methyl hydrate went all over. Dad picked up the burning jug and threw it out on the driveway, came back in and put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. Needless to say, we use electric fondue pots now.

If they used a fire extinguisher, and you have central heat/cool, I bet they (insurance, if you use em) will be cleaning your entire house. That stuff gets everywhere.

Damn dude. Now instead of taking your time and planning out your bathroom the way you want it, you get to dive in and do it on a budget.

Glad everyone is OK, that is the important part.

home insurance outta pay for the majority of it, actually. So if anything, he should be able to make it even nicer than he originally planned, or just as nice for less out of his own wallet!

Read the whole thread, glad to hear everyone is as safe as can be!

did the babysitter call you first, or the 5-0?

again, glad you're all safe :)
