I posted a little bit about my intentions with this in my thread I made about hitting the deer, I figured it wasn't appropriate in that thread anymore so I'll make a new thread with some pics and eventually a complete writeup on how to do this. Ever since I whacked a deer with my black Durango my aftermarket LED front lights have been fogging (the right side most likely because the brushguard whacked the light pretty good but didn't visually affect it). Not real bad, I was able to put a couple small drill holes in one to stop it from fogging, but I never really cared for the performance of these lights anyway. They look nice and are BRIGHT, but I was never able to successfully get the left side flasher to flash normal. Sometimes it'd flash normal, other times it'd hyperflash. I'm sick of dealing with it so I ordered a set of standard diamond clear corners…
The things I like about the LED's over the diamond clears…
-Longer lifespan
-Modern look
-No color at all when off, perfect amber color when lit… Not too white and not too yellow.
Disliked about the LED corners…
-Couldn't get them to flash normal more than 50% of the time…
-Sockets didn't really fit well in the back of the housings
-Giant amber reflector lens in the side…
-After hitting the deer the left side furthest corner bulb (the standard 194 one) series of LED's would flicker now and then…
-They always looked uneven when lit from a distance (reflector issue)
-Cost… $115.
I only paid $30 for the standard clear lenses, so I wasn't out a whole lot. However, the biggest gripe I had about this style was the fact that there's no suitable 194 bulb (or similar variant) that was tinted chrome with a hint of blue when off, but lit up amber. Only to add to this, they didn't flash with the other bulbs.
So, I started hacking up an old lens I had (I removed it from my '01 to replace with a new unit to have the two lights match) I wanted to get a third 3157 (I believe that's the #) to make them all the same, and most likely add sequential flashers and DRLs (yes I love amber DRL's).
Anyway, after an hour or so of dremelling, test fitting, and fitting into one of my replacement fenders… I've come to the conclusion that this WILL work! So, I manned up and started hacking up my brand new never installed diamond clears. I don't have the silverstars so the amber bulbs they came with will do for the modding process. When I finish, I'll buy a set of silverstars.

Modded… Keep in mind the bulb is actually perfectly level with the other bulbs, it just looks slightly lower from the angle of the pic.
Modded lit…
Here's what they'll do when I finish, except all 3 will sequence…
