thats what ive decided to use instead of the mark viii. i dont really need the dual speeds. only question i have about this one is how to mount it to my radiator? it isnt tall enough to mount to the radiator surrounding lip.
Call back and tell them that two of their competing dealers will both sell it to you...I bet they change their mind.LOL!
Called my local horrible dealer....after 5 minutes of waiting. "You would have to have it installed, we can't sell recall parts, it's against the law."
LMFAO :jester: :funny:
2 mins later: Called the better dealer that's 3x farther, $71 for it...hmm
5 mins later: Called the dealer that's a tad farther than the last, they're open until after midnight, $65.xx + tax, but it'll be a week or two to get.
I hate my local dealer with a passion, such assholes.
Yeah I know kinda looks like WACKOFF.Who?
Heres a link on how the jeeps had it mounted.Im curious if the shroud would take much to fabricate to fit our radiators.I might order one for the hell of it if it isnt more than 100.00.I will keep yall posted on that project.Yea I did order it from Wyckoff, only common sense. But I figured I'd check the three dealers I'd be in the area of tomorrow first.
Was also curious about how you know the specs of the fan...
I will probably make a shroud for it though when I do get it.
Well I'll be damned...that fan shroud looks like a 100% perfect fit for our trucks...Heres a link on how the jeeps had it mounted.Im curious if the shroud would take much to fabricate to fit our radiators.I might order one for the hell of it if it isnt more than 100.00.I will keep yall posted on that project.

There is one at the pullapart by me. Its a 2000 GC C4C. I am going to be going and yanking the fan and shroud off soon just to test fit it and possibly make a shroud or use the factory one.:mullet: They are around 8 dollars for the shroud.Dont it though? Bad thing about that is that you have to read the fine print at the bottom.THat Jeep fan is only $39.48 from Dodgeparts.com
www.dodgeparts.com then go to Jeep parts then OEM catalog copy and paste that number in. NICE FIND 4000 cfm
I went to the dealer and it was the wrong fan shroud. We pulled the right one off the computer but they have to order it.Price went up to 50.00.Which still isnt bad.I found one on ebay for 31.00.

If you google the part number 52079489AB you can look at a couple of places.Rock auto has them and they actually have the dimensions.I still ordered from the dealer just so that if it wasnt gonna fit I could get some of my money back.Im just worried about if I have to lose my coolant and washer fluid reservoir since mines part of the factory shroud. If I have to lose it then im not installing it but will make sure that it will so you guys with the older trucks could do it since yalls trucks coolant reservoir and washer fluid reservoir isnt like the newer ones.It should be here tomorrow and will let yall know whats going on.Heres the dimensions.

How does the pump for the washer hook up?Or you could just intall an aftermarket overflow(I like the JAZ ones form Jegs) and a older style washer fluid reservior and not worry about keeping your ugly stock ones.
My pump is recessed into the shroud. With a connector. You will have to extend your wiring from the radiator area to back by the hood hinge, but it's not that hard to do.
