Agreed...SIN STOP HIDING THESE ASSHOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE FORUM...PUT IT RIGHT UP TOP IN A HUGE MEMBERS TO BE AWARE OF SECTION...GET THESE ASSHOLES OFF OF OUR BOARDS!!!
Why? I can't remember the last time that someone got totally fucked by someone on this site, and then the seller tried to pop back online months/years later in order to try and scam someone else. Usually when someone completely screws someone else, they hide their heads in shame and never return to the site. For the most part, if the problem happens with a semi-regular user of the site, the transaction eventually gets taken care of.

The vast majority of bad transactions are first-time occurances that blindsided the buyer because they didn't see it coming. There's nothing I can do to prevent first-timers except for reminding people about the advice that's already posted in the for sale forum - use common sense, use a method of payment that has some sort of recovery option (eg: paypal, money order), etc. The iTrader system has been provided so you can see who has followed through with their transactions and got positive feedback from the buyers.

This is true, and I appreciate the trader system. However, Sparky had no trader history to go by at the time. So like many of us who were raised that 'a mans word is his word" or "a handshake is as good as a contract", I ok'd the payment deal. Not only that, he was local. So I didnt think he'd even try such a thing knowing I had many friends in his back yard. Anyway, airing out someones laundry on a public board is not my style. But he left me no choice.

There is the member feedback thread and the members to avoid thread that are both sticky's. Could porbably post in there. I've known the person in question for a long time, so I'm not going to make any judgements. I am going to work with scojo to try and resolve the issue though.

yes.

And each user's iTrader feedback rating is displayed in every single post they make throughout the site.
i dont blame the site for anything, you guys do all that you can to help us out. I guess everyones just gotta use good judgement.

I feel there should be a section dedicated to them, each post beginning with their user name, and what happened, then, the thread locked so noone can whore on it
