So here's a theme idea, cool pics of your pets. I don't mean the normal here's my pet, but your pet doing something funny or different. I'll get it started with these. In '01 the dog, wife and I went for a drive. We went up to Estes Park, Colo. and Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park. On the way upto Estes, there is an area where you can stop and feed the chipmunks. Two of the pics were taken at this location, the others were taken at a point in the park. Sorry for the quality, these weren't digital pics, but rather scans that I had to upload and modify.
These two were taken at a stop on the way to the park
Hello Mr. Chipmunk
Hey, who are you?
Let's play!
What is not obvious is this, there is less than 8" between the two of them, the dog weighs 33 lbs, my wife weighed 125 lbs at the time, she is straining to hold the dog from attacking the chipmunk. The dogs nails actually left marks on the rock wall she was straining and digging for traction. There were several people standing nearby who saw this and all took pics, afterward a couple of them were like, wow that dog didn't try to eat that chipmunk. My wife was like, I'm straining to hold the leash. Had she gone after the chipmunk it would have been a 3 ft leap off the wall and then a quick tumble to the bottom of the mtn. if she tried to go after the chipmunk.
