i went and started the dak today and me being me i had left my pass side window open about half and inch ad its been like this for two weeks and some snow got in and now the power window opens slowly and the motor sounds like its straining is it just because it -30 out or did my dumbass screw somthing up:huh:

Don't know about your window but thas one long ass sentence! :funny:
On a serious note, it could just be from the cold. It doesn't get that cold where I'm from so I've never had this problem. Good luck though.

Yeah Ive had the window "POP" before when attemting to lower int he colod, the fact that its frozen then moves...However Ive never had it slow down...Always goes as fast as normal....BUT...Im with Boom, never gets REALLY cold here:huh:
Sure the snow didn't melt and seep down in and then refreeze with those temperatures?
Warm it up, roll it up and leave it until it's warmer outside to get a better idea on it.
Mine popped last night at -25, but it's also been snowy/icy out.

i wanna get one of those but it kinda yells somthing to steal and living next to me are some 16 years olds whose whole life revolves around weed and there parent are never home and with the way my back lot isthey could steal it a night and you would now till the next day

warm up the truck and see if it does anything. drive it around to warm up the engine then let it sit in the driveway will heaters on full. it'll get hot so i dont recomend waiting inside the car but do that for some time so that it can really heat up the inside and door panels.
see if its not maybe frozen from water. one time i got in the durango all doors were frozen shut so that was a bitch to get in without breaking the handle.
when i was inside, and i parked at a store, when i went to get out the locks were frozen and the inside handle was frozen too. i went to pull back on the handle and it just sat there, the lock came half unlocked and got stuck. i couldn't pull it unlocked all the way. luckily the keyless entry motor was strong enough to nudge it and unlocked the door but otherwise i wouldn'tve been able to get out bceause the mechanism was frozen

unfortunitly i cant drive it and its only got a 1/4 tank of gas so i cant really run it but once it gets warn out ill try it the amount of snow in the truck was minmal like when you open the door before clearing the roof and snow falls in so i dought it got in and like posted above the motors are only two years old so they shouldnt have any problems
Don't leave your windows open in the winter. Unless you smoke, there is no need to. And since it was your passenger side, I think I can safely assume it wasn't from smoking in the truck. My guess is, it's just because it's so cold out and the grease on the window track is stiff. Close the window and leave it closed until it warms up. Even though the motors are only two years old, you can still burn them up from using them, especially if they have to strain like you mentioned.
as stated before i dont drive the truck and am too young to smoke(never will)
but last time started it was two weeks ago when it was warn so i rolled the windows down to cool the inside and i guess i left the pass window open a little
