well i was looking tonight and it seemed to me that my drivers side rear is lower then the pass side rear. ill hav to take some pics tomorrow with a tape measure, but i used my fingers... i could get 4 fingers inbetween the top on the tire and the bottom of the flare on the drivers side. on the pass side i could fit my whole hand?? why is this? im lowered 3" in the rear with blocks.

Every single Dakota that ever rolled off the assembly lines sits un-even. Even with the Hotchkis suspension on mine, it's not perfectly even front to rear/side to side. Has a lot to do with the gas tank on the drivers side for the rear, and the fact that the engine doesn't sit perfectly centers on the front.

Very common. Simple reason, it is heavier on the drivers side! Anything heavier on drivers side center behind the front wheel.

Examples:
Steering colum
dash board components
brake system
emission system
Fuel system
driver
age of this abuse
etc.

Sure there are a few things on the passenger to compensate, but not enough to equal-level.

The front is a little different, the motor is offset helping to adjust the weight, but still off a little too.
