Later down the line, when you are tryin to break the 11 second or lower barrier at the track youll be wanting some traction control ;)

o theres been times ive wished the dakota had traction control kinda like last year when i was stuck in class and just looking outside as the snow was coming down and icing up the roads and by the time i got out of class there was like a sheet of 3/4inch ice on the roads i was like :help: and :cussing: because what is normally a 20min drive home from worwic took me 1hour and like 15 min because i had no traction whatsoever and had to idle all the way home at 15 mph and even less in many spots

basically i wish we had an on/off traction control system that defaulted to off and could be turned on if you want it on

Yea, like the system in my 94 New Yorker. It has a standby traction control system.

Wonder if anyone makes something for the dakotas ?

ok im tired of waiting for the transmission my friend and i put the exhaust back together saturday and took it out on the road im putting some miles on the brake kit as it says not to jack hard on the brakes for the first 250ish miles but ive had to do it twice once for an idiot in a minivan and second for a horny deer and the doe he was chasing, if you wanna meet up sometime this week im game and maybe can grab my one srt buddies

must warn you mines nothing to special it has the bad 99 paint and everything

Yea, im game. It would have to be later in the evening tho, because I dont get off work till later.

Also, needs to be good weather, cause as i said shes garage kept. Dont wanna ruin my finish ;)

just cant be tuesday and thursday nights as i have class from 6-10 and 5 till 10 respectivly anyother night i can usually make work

I went to the outback last night with a buddy of mine, and I didnt eat anything really cause I had eaten earlier that morning, but, man there were some gorgeous girls in there. Good god man, I was in heaven.

yea its just finals week at school and ive gotten most of the suspension parts in now just waiting on some hotchkis and bilstien stuff to get here and the front bushings are totaly shot so its been sitting at my buddies house till the parts come in again. I traded it for my fathers ram again when it got alittle nasty last week. Still would love to meet everyone im not to sure how good/bad mine is running compared to others sometimes

Ya know thats funny, I work at UPS, and today some guy in pittsville got a Hotchkis Component system. Bilsteins, sway bars, but i didnt see the coils.

That guy in pittsville got his leaf springs yesterday. I dont know if he is getting coils, if they were already shipped or what, but Im pretty sure that all the stuff was for a Dakota.

lol all the Bilstien and Hotchkis stuff was for my truck my friend that is helping do my suspension lives in Pittsville so we had it all shipped to his house instead of mine. Btw the coils came in on the first day with the sways and the Shocks :mullet: cant wait to get everything on

Cool. I recognized it was for a Dakota tho. Rest Assured it should have arrived in good condition, because I loaded it ;)

Anyways, After this christmas rush is over, I say we all go out and get some grub. The R/T hasnt been out in a while, all this nasty weather...

yea dakless or not on my part i dont care anymore keep talking and randomly seeing each other and not meeting in person is driving me crazy lol, pretty crazy that you were the one to load it....... o do the a-arm bushings look like a bastard
