whats the best way to remove the v8 magnum badge from the fenders?

Some years do, some years don't.

I believe 1999 Dodge Dakotas have holes behind the badges.

i beleive they do have 2 holes in behind them. i know on mine v6 badges on my 2000 when i tooke em off i had to weld up my holes. they might even be a couple of those plastic screws holding them on from behind

I used fishing line to get them started and then pulled them off. I used GooGone, a rag, and a little elbow greese to get the adhesive off. The holes are there just to line them up at the factory. Other than that it's just adhesive.
