once i get the new radiator i'll have more pix of the install (including pix of brackets). i'll also do an amp draw test on it to see how many amps this thing pulls. may need to put a larger fuse in. i'll also be putting a weather strip around the edge that will face the radiator.

What is wrong with your Flex-a-Lite? I installed one midway through the summer with a SPAL controller, and I absolutely love it. :huh:

Nothing I like it, But the FAL controller that sticks in the fins leaves a bit to be desired. It cools great. I am going to get SCT, and since you can change the temp of the fan that's the only reason. Also this fits under the factory shroud and the FAL doesnt.

it's a brand new Mopar fan. apparently some Jeep GC's had a problem with fan blades flying off.

Agreed. I didn't even bother using their controller with it. I bought a SPAL v3 controller and no other controller compares. This GC setup seems nice if you want to keep the factory shroud, but I like that the FAL has it's own.

Called my local horrible dealer....after 5 minutes of waiting. "You would have to have it installed, we can't sell recall parts, it's against the law."

Edit: Called the better dealer that's 3x farther, $71 for it...hmm

Edit Called the dealer that's a tad farther than the last, they're open until after midnight, $65.xx + tax, but it'll be a week or two to get.
