Yeah it was probally the 5.4V8, they are dogs. Now my dad's 04 6.0 Power Stroke is pushing right @ 600hp & 800tq @ the motor. He has the Edge Attitude w/ Platinum Module, AEM Brute Force Intake, & Silver Line Turbo Back 4" Stainless Exhaust. And trust me for a Crew Cab 4x4 It would spank a majority of the trucks and cars on the road.

I didn't have time to check if it said powerstroke on the side, so i dunno. A stock 6.0 powerstroke isn't as slow as this thing was i believe.

I've always wanted to drive a turbo diesel to check em out. My uncle has a standard 4x4 dodge 3500. I should get him to let me drive it.

The newer diesels get pretty impressive pretty easily if you spent the money right. they have allot of power that can just be unlocked unlike the poor gas models

I know there are alot that can be done to wake up a diesel, when you get one that is modded that is one sleeper i would not mess with. I have seen some old farm boys backin the day with the old farm Cummins Dodge that would beat out the stock Cameros and Firebirds in the early 90s just with a few basic mods, what they were i could not tell ya as i am not a diesel person. I saw an episode of Pinks a few years ago that a diesel was owning the race. Think it was Bully Dog. It was awesome how hard that truck ran, it was a Dodge i think.

On the early cummins you are talking about, if you cut off the limiter on the fuel pump screw and screw it in past the limiter you can easily add 100hp. They done it in Diesel Power on their old 12V.

my buddies 07 civic si ran a 15.3. Burnt the clutch and replaced it with a better one along with a lighweight fly wheel and ran a 14.9. I bet him a about a month ago with a FUCKED motor hahaha he wasnt too happy

i cant see a lil honda bein able to rev that high, hell my race engines i have limiters set to 7400 or less for their power.

well it could have been a 5.4 v8, 6.8 v10, 6.0 or 6.4 diesel. did u see black smoke? hear a turbo spool? either way they all arent tht great. the diesel are ok but not that great.
