so this sucks been with out a job for almost 3 weeks. i moved to SC for this job. left everything i know for the last 25 years and worked the job for 2 weeks and they lay me off. been looking for some thing new but this economy sucks my ass. any one know of any places hiring in the bluffton/hhi sc area? ok i'll stop bitching now

Dude, we're in the same boat. Been without a job for a week though, but it's about to HURT bad for me! This economy sucks...I'm stuck and I'm trying to climb out.

i have been droping apps at alot of stores and fast food they only want part time and PT to them is one maybe two days a week

better than nothing isnt it? The time you have off look for other jobs.
I would alos look into online mass applications. They work...may get 50 emails but maybe one will pan out..

There're alot of jobs in Michigan, they just all require years of college and larger degrees. All pay nearly 6 figures as well. I just wish they'd take the time to hire in people that are intelligent enough to learn through them at a lower salary... but that's just my opinion.

turn over rates.
Most trucking companies retain 3 out of 10 for more than one year. Most quit withing the first three months.
Out of those three that stay 1 year plus...one will make it to two years with the company

it doesnt take long to figure out if you can get used to the life. Most people cant hack it.
