I have a buddy with a harley edition f-150. Supercharged with the 5.4. Well we have raced and he has beat me and I have beat him. Just depends on who was better off the line. That was stock. He got a programmer, blew his motor last week and when it comes back its going to be factory shortblock, plus upper intake, pulley(plus 2 or 4 psi???), tb, and the programmer. How much is that going to add to his truck. I am wanting to know if my truck with programmer, tb, m-1, cai is going to be able to hang with him anymore. And if not what do I need. I am planning on getting some rr's, and trying to get some heads, cam and flash. What do I need to beat him.
 
m1, flash, shift kit if you already dont have one. 1.7rr's (tell him you put in 1.6's), could port a set of heads, and drop them on. get headers and a better y-pipe if you didnt already. (2.25'' off the headers, into a 3" single pipe. get a good y-pipe collector). better muffler too. slightly wider tires...(275's)
 
with what you have.... idk sounds like he would beat you but not by much. 2-4 psi + the other mods will have him a decnet amount faster than he is now.

what you need, you listed it. if your ganna get a cam dont invest in 1.7s cause you can just get a bigger cam and be set. heads will really wake up your motor if you already have a M1. trust me i just did it and wow

I was going to get some 1.6 rr's and a cam comparable to the KRC 220(anybody know specs of this). If I play my cards right I might be getting some eddy heads. M-1 is due to get shipped monday I was told, I should Have my rr's paid fri, need to get electric fan, need to get some headers. I am guessing this to put me somewhere in the 300-325 rwhp and somewhere in the mid 13's. Forgot about the flash or sct tuning. With mods listed, should I go ahead and get the sct. Moparsz, ever get your sct going???

Its a 4 dr fullsize truck on 20's. They are rated at 340 hp. I might just buy another n2o kit just to make sure.
 
thats pretty weak LOL

and them Harley Badges are what $5K more? I know their rims are the most reported stolen rims on the market

maybe that much power at the crank. not at the wheels. and mid 13s... check sigVVV. your ganna want a shift kit and stall and then youll be in the mid to low 13s
 
F150 harley supercharged.

I used to go to an 1/8th mile track in Savannah GA, and the harley trucks woud barely get me when my truck was stock. I know they are pigs until they get going. I haven't seen any of them in NC yet. Does anyone know the diff between them and lightning set ups?:huh:

Lightnings have a smaller pulley for a little more boost and the fuel is a little leaner, they fattened up the harley one because they thought people would tow more with them and just to be safe. I know people bash krc but there lightning package is heads, m-1, 210 cam, tb, some gaskets, 1.6 rr, flash, headers and converter and claim 320+ rwhp. I will have almost everything except maybe converter. But I will have bigger cam and on the track I will ave some et streets. I think I will be close to this. And with underdive pulleys, electric fan, maybe gears, I should be above it. Then a 50-75 shot will definately get me there maybe high 12's on a real good day.
 
screw the 75 shot. that truck will handle a 100 no problem and a 150 if you just pay attention to the a/f.

with a tail wind, and something pulling you maybe. thats like 150-155hp over stock with those mods you listed as the krc package...

your truck is 4000lbs. 4300 if its a club cab

you may hit 13.6-13.80. might hit 13.2-13.35 with gears, (4.10's), a 125 shot, and converter (2800)


so with that number, (320hp) 100lbs adds about .10-.12 to your time. so add in .66-.90 to that. thats where you should be with the truck with that package.

my buddy had a camaro, weighted in like 3400-3500lbs. made 310 hp at the wheels,4.10 gears, 3200 stall...3 speed trans with stage two shift kit,..... went 12.91...(with 275/60's bfg drag radials) (this was the first motor. by his third setup, he went less agressive with the roller cam, better heads, roller lifters....went 12.01. everything else stayed the same from what i remember

I run 14.1@ 93 with nothing done to the motor. I did the headers back exhaust, CAI, 180 Therm., Removed clutch fan, Msd ignition, and 02 sims. I have a CC. SO with the lightning killer package shouldn't i be in the low 13s?
 
14.1 is pretty damn good for just bolt ons. thats like a second faster than stock.

im not exatly sure whats in the package but heads cam and intake should get you close to a second. you could be in the low 13s.

My buddy had an 02-03 and he ran 13.8 on street tires. Put some stuff on it and was at 13.1x when he sold it.
 
i ran a rich 125 shot (couldnt get it to lean out) several times and never had a problem

You need a dyno to check, but the Nx Jetting charts are off on the dakota's. of you run the pills the recommend you will always be rich (which is safer than lean if you had to choose between the two evils)

Step down the fuel pill a little. Stock bottom end can take it no problem
