hahaha already did. Whats with the ratcheting deal? Is that how you shift her down into gears once its in drive?
Yeah i had one of those in my olds cutlass 442. Yeah you put it in ratchet mode for racing or having fun i guess. For faster shifting up gears. Just slam it forward each time you wanna shift.... God i miss mine.

That would be pretty badass. But I have to think of how well it would work for me tho in the long run. I dont race her or anything so it would just be for show lol

Ordered bed rail and tailgate caps. Should get them in about a week.

Drove about 420 miles "home" to do a bit more work on the farm.

had a rock chip fixed in the front windshield tonight..had a rock hit it Saturday morning...I saw it coming..could not do anything about it..

Haven't done anything with either dakota lately. Drove the 2000 everyday to and from work then again today to go radio control racing which didn't turn out so well and came home way early. Drove the 2003 yesterday to dinner, between the rain showers.

I need to have my shocks done on the 2000 but none of the local shops want to mess with it and if they will do it they want $180+.

Do the shocks yourself.
I don't have the tools for it. Plus the last time I removed the lower bolts on the front I broke all 4 bolts and had to drill them out, retap the holes and find the right size bolts to put back in. That was 3 years ago and the front shock job took me 13 hours over 2 days. The rears weren't as bad but when I removed the bolts the rust destroyed the threads on the bolts so I have to find new bolts then too. That took me another 6 hours.

I'd rather have a shop deal with the shocks then me because with the mood I've been in lately the truck might end up in 1 of 3 scenarios. 1 set on fire, 2 wrapped around a tree, or 3 at the bottom of lake michigan which is literally 2 miles down my street.

I need air tools for this job, I have a compressor but it's only good up to 40psi, impact gun requires more than what my compressor can handle.
