which works best??...
the other day i noticed a slight squeling noise coming from the front wheels while driving, but when i applied brake pressure, the noise went away, then this morning i noticed a slight grinding sound coming from the front wheels when i pressed on the brakes... so i'm guessing that my pads are worn down pretty good, and i will have to replace them anyway, so why not spend a few bucks more and get something better...
I know that the rotors are going to have to be replaced and some new pads, and maybe some new calipers with phenolic pistons... the last time i had my brakes done the guys at the shop told me my rotors were really close to the minimum thickness... so they will most likely have to be replaced...
my truck is a 97 club cab 5.2 4x4... so its heavy, i also have black steel wheels and 31" BFG tires which adds to the scale...
