Story:
I was coming home from school tonight (11PM), and was merging from the freeway to the highway, the lane was clear but as I moved over I noticed a bobbin' light in my rearview mirror...Didn't think anything of it.
As aproached the first stop light the traffic was just getting going as the light just turned green (I was in the left lane) then I just here this *BWAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH and see this black Corvette come flyin' past me and slam on the brakes to keep from hitting the car infront of him (inches I tell you!!!). I was just laughing at him to myself. Well, he was cuttin' back and forth through traffic and just hammering on from every stop light.
Needless to say it didn't get him very far when I pulled up next to him a couple stop lights later. He was stopped way back from the light, and I rolled past him and just gave him a glare, noticing the girl he was obiously showing off to in the passenger seat (queer had a bleeched blonde buzz cut, and was with some brunette, but I didn't see her face).
Light turns green and I just put her to the floor, get a little chirp, and she starts climin' fast...But where is Corvette? About 4 car lengths back tryin' to get into first (I knew he wasn't spinning, because there wasn't any 'erching' and there wasn't any smoke, and the engine was bogging). Then I can here is annoyingly loud exhaust charge up as he comes crusing past me (not fast, but movin'). We were already doing 50 when he past me (highway turned back to 65mph freeway), and I new the Corvette would win 'cause c'mon, I'm in a truck...but it didn't beat me nearly as bad as I thought. Now granted, if queer boy knew how to drive a stick he probobly would have smoked me, but no second chances when there aren't any more stoplights.
Besides, if his girl was with me, she could sit in the middle right beside me, and I would be able to here her talk with out going "WHAT!?!?!?".
Anyway...I lost, but I still thought the whole thing was funny considering how he was driving and I was driving (completely opposite) and we met up together...Now if I could just get the turbo kit... :drive:
